Fellowship Programs
The application deadline is October 15, 1997. Notification of awardees will be made by mid-May 1998. At least two fellowships will be awarded; the number awarded is usually four.
Applications are requested from Ph.D.s and M.D.s who will be conducting 2-year research projects under the sponsorship of established STD investigators. Applicants are not required to be U.S. citizens but must be studying at established institutions within the U.S. or its territories. ASHA fellowships may not be used in support of faculty positions unless approved by ASHA's management. In addition, current ASHA fellows are not eligible to apply for other ASHA fellowships.
